HeroFest 2026
Short version: find markers, scan them, one payout per marker per day, most catches wins.
Catches have to belong to someone, so catching requires signing in. A display name, an email and a password is all it takes — there is no email to confirm before you can play.
Every marker is a printed card placed around the halls, or a code worn by Catchmaster staff on a hi-vis vest. Nothing is hidden inside this website.
Tap Scan in Catchmaster, or point your phone's own camera app at a marker. Both land on the same catch and pay the same.
Each card prints what it pays in its bottom-right corner, and that is the number that lands. What is hanging out there at this event:
Catchmaster staff wear some of the markers, so those move around the hall. A marker on a vest can carry any value, the same as a card on a wall — read the number on the marker.
Staff configure them per event. Whatever a marker is worth at the moment you scan it is what you get, and the marker itself tells you.
Catch Station 12 today and it pays nothing else today, no matter how many times it is scanned. Tomorrow it pays again.
Event days start at midnight in Europe/Zurich, decided by our servers rather than your phone's clock. Changing your device time changes nothing.
The leaderboard is the record. It is public, it updates live, and it shows display names only — never email addresses.
If two players finish on the same total, the one who reached that total earlier ranks higher. Ranking is never random.
Passing codes to other people, photographing markers for someone who is not there, or scanning from a screenshot can have a score reduced or wiped. Staff can see every catch and when it happened.
